sparkle 'n' shine hi there pple... due 2 popular demand, this glitzy blog is back in action. thanx 4 all those sweeet comments bout the template n sorry.. never blog 4 so long. been really REALLY bz 4 christmas. im also proud 2 announce tt i watched lotr, Return Of The King 4 times n im still not bored 2 death like a lot of pple i noe. HAHA!! i luv tt show. yupp... and this entrys gonna be all bout my christmas. it was fantastic.
21 DEC. had a great christmas celebration at church. the youth fellowship put up a really cool performance. first the skit. really nice. then the song, Everyday (lyrics mite be comin up later) and the dance. tt was fun but still terribly botched up. tt stoopid scarf kept fallin. but it was great practisin and all. then santa claus came. -wheee. so fun. altho i did get a vcd tts written in malay :S ... it was still fun. and i luved mi outfit. *grinz* 22 DEC -wheeeee... VIC N MANDY CAME TO MY HOUSE!! so much fun. tt is after vicky decided 2 be, what was it?, 1 and a half hours late. *sighz* so we played badminton in the monsoon winds, finally breakin our record of 4 consecutive passes and feelin very happy about it. then we went home, did some painting and made idiots of ourselves over msn. then later... we had dinner. briyani, chicken, ham, sausages, salad, ice cream. haha... really cool. and i got some really cute prezzies too. thanks vic n mandy. 23 DEC errrr.. i carn really remember wat we did on the 23rd. :> 24 DEC wow. this was the best. i went carollin till 5 am!! all the youth fellowship were so enthu and it was so fun. we went 2 bout 16 houses. and everyone was so happy. and the yf really made it special. in many ways. but there are certain pple who are just plain despo. i think some pple mite noe wat im talkin about. haha... tt was REALLY memorable. 25 DEC CHRISTMAS DAY!! i had some really great presents. a discman, makeup, vickys prezzie, really great stuff this yr. then we had this great lunch at the fullerton and took loads of great pictures. there was one wif sir stamford raffles. of course it had auspicium melioris aevi plastered there but... cant be helped lah. it was great. so like i said b4, christmas this yr was very enjoyable and really fantastic. and lotr really rox. bcoz of tt show, there seems 2 be a sudden rise in interest in sports such as archery*sighz*, horse ridin and fencing. yupp. altho it seems 2 end about 3-4 times b4 it really really ends, i encourage evryone 2 watch tt show coz its really great. and legolas rox. meg sparkled on 12/28/2003 09:09:00 PM.
sparkle 'n' shine hey pple... thanks 4 all ur lovely comments bout mi template. unfortunately... on my comp, i can sometimes c it and sometimes i cant. yeah. sadly, im also not feeling very well at the moments. gastric flu. sigh. tts y i dun really go online tt much nowadays. so sad. stomach ache, vomittin, diarrhoea and faintin all at the same time. sighz. i somehow managed to drag myself to c brother bear wif my mum, hopin tt i'd feel better after tt. stupid thing 2 do. i felt absolutely horrible. but it was a very touching show but somehow i couldnt really appreciate it coz of the pain. ouch. i gotta take so many medicines. all so colourful and interesting larh but urgh... i dun like takin them. i hope im better in a few days. i remember i got the same thing at the end of last yr too. then i took some medicine and it worked miraculously. but the side-effects.... my eyes were SO VERY swollen... i had to wear sunglasses on my first day in rgs. sigh. nevermind. determined 2 feel better for christmas. i carn b SICK 4 christmas, can i?? nah... spoil the fun. and vic n mandy are comin to mi housie on the 22nd 4 a small leetle christmas celebration. juz 2 play at mi house and haf some nice dinner. ~whee. tts something exciting 2 look forward to. anywae... gotta go take medicine. -_-. cya later. byebye. meg sparkled on 12/11/2003 12:44:00 PM.

sparkle 'n' shine ok this is gonna b a loooooong entry, so buckle up pple. :> today was bout e funnest day of the hols. i went on a beeyoodiful pique-nique wif victoria. achievement no. 1: WE MANAGED TO REACHED THE BOTANICS!! yay!!. i was like so sure we were gonna get lost (as usual). but 4 one... we took ages 2 get there. all bcoz vic had 2 find a place 2 change and we went scurrying around looking 4 food to buy. then trying 2 find a loo. we met at 10:45 and by the time we left taka it was bout 12 liow. TWO HOURS!! so then we reached botanix and put our map-reading skills to the test. we went round the place 4 a while... and then we saw it. Palm Valley. it was soo gloriously scenic. so much grass. we gambolled around 4 a while b4 spreading our flowered mat on a mini hill. as i was smart enough to sit facing the down-slope, vic was forced to sit in an odd and precarious position. i.e. she was slowly but surely sliding down the slope. after we settled down.... we started munching on sandwiches, tiger biscuits, jelly (made by me... so u noe how wonderful they were *coff coff*) and chips. then i put on mi tiny radio n we had some music. they were playing some odd sort of christmas carols but since the reception went haywire ... it wasn't really music 2 our ears. we had such fun... reading tt french bk and later we played 'donkey cards' we had 3 rounds n, sadly, i was the 'donkey' 4 all 3 rounds. then vic had the glorious pleasure of taunting me calling me 'donkey, donkey, donkey!!' *mean pig* of course there was the slight problem of ants tt seemed to b attacking us (especially vic) in droves. after lazing around 4 quite a while, vic dragged me 4 a forest trail. i wanted 2 lie there n enjoy the sun some more but she literally pulled me off my mat, folded it up and said "lets go!!" so i said fine then. on the way there we passed this little stall tt sold intricately hand-painted candle-jars. they were sooo sweet. so i bought one and vic was taking photos. then the lady at the shop was sooo fascinated with my little radio n she asked me where i bought it and all. she was quite nice. then we entered the forest and i had "oh-no" written all over my face. well i was hoping we'd get lost n not find the entrance. moots. but in the end (after the stoopid sloping came 2 an end and we reached level ground) i quite enjoyed myself. it was highly educational. we studied bio, geog and ecology. actually we could haf gone there instead of btnr 4 geog trip. it was so much less tiring and just as educational. we saw lianas and ferns and decomposing mater and buttress roots and juz about evryting we saw at btnr except the hill. and we saw cute squirrels and flowers and took a whole lot of great pictures. it was really very fun. then we posed 4 photographs with tall trees n flowers and goodness noes wat else. then when vic was posing 4 a foto... she said something fell on her neck and she was afraid it was venomous then she asked me whether ants had venom or not. yeah... DOT DOT DOT. i didnt noe larh. so i said no. heehee. then we decided 2 go to the orchid garden. now this is the 'fun' part. after showing our id and all, the lady at the counter said there was going to b a star there... tt Bollywood actor was gonna have an orchid named after him. it was seeing shah rukh khan live. we were like so sad coz i couldnt get 2 watch the concert but then i did get 2 see him after all. it was soooo CROWDED and sweltering hot. i was getting this heat rash on my face coz of the heat. it was terrible. and dear sweet vicky waited there 4 me even though she had no interest in bollywood actors watsoever. awwww... shes so sweeet. go vicky. :> not tt i had a great interest in tt guy either. not really a great fan. but still... if an actor comes mite as well see. he was fashionably late as usual. hem hem. juz when i was about 2 give up and go .. THEN he arrives. i heard cheering from outside and rushed back in. after waiting 4 about 1-1 half hrs.. he appears 4 bout 10 minutes. *SIGHZ* so after he left, we decided 2 go back too. and then of course.. it started raining. first a drizzle then WHOOSH... it started 2 pour. LUCKILY, we both had umbrellas. vic wanted 2 offer her umbrella 2 half the pple on the street and i firmly advised her against it. so we boarded 105 and headed home after a long, tiring, adventurous, glorious day at the Botanic gardens. yay. i'd like 2 do tt again one day. it was real fun. meg sparkled on 11/29/2003 09:38:00 PM.

sparkle 'n' shine ok.. so i've been bloggin totally useless entries 4 a while. tts coz im bored, and haf absolutely nothing 2 blog 'bout. yeah.. mebbe some stuff's been goin on. but none of them r really v. interesting. like i got a new bookshelf. and we're doing some toilet renovation. oh yeah. something interestin did happen. i got a package from La Poste De France. it was a book... wif mi poem published in it. the millennium one. itz quite a pretty book. yeah tt was fun. now xmas shoppin iz mostly buyin stuff 4 pple. i keep thinkin how some pple dun deserve gifts u noe. but mi mum says itz rude if u give evry year n dis yr dun give. shouldn't haf given them in the firz place. *sighz* one interestin thing. im going hiking wif vickie in botanic gardens. da forest trail thingie.
